Meet our featured presenters

 Terry Tempest Williams
Honoring our Sacred Feminine Power and our Connection to Nature
Friday, March 12th, 6:30 pm

Terry has always believed that climate change is an ecological issue, but she believes first and foremost that it is a spiritual issue.  A naturalist and fierce advocate for freedom of speech, she has consistently shown us how environmental issues are social issues that ultimately become matters of justice. Williams’s essays are a call to action, blazing a way forward through difficult and dispiriting times. She reminds us that beauty is its own form of resistance and that water can crack stone.

Williams is the author of numerous works of nonfiction, including Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place, Finding Beauty in a Broken World,The Hour of Land: A Personal Topography of America’s National Parks (2016) and When Women Were Birds. She currently teaches at Harvard Divinity School in Massachusetts. In her latest book, Erosion: Essays of Undoing, she brilliantly  explores the any forms of erosion we face: of democracy, science, compassion, and trust.       www.coyoteclan.com

Vernelle Nelson
Celebrate Yourself, Living a Golden Life
Friday, March 12th. 9:00 – 11:00 am

Vernelle’s Interview by Kris Steinnes on Voices of Women

As women, we have the added burden of being conditioned to be nurturers and caregivers and to deny our needs in order to support the wants and needs of others. Celebrate Yourself is an adventure that opens the doors for women to return to the truth of their divine beingness. This fun-filled, interactive workshop makes it possible for you to begin the journey back to your original purpose by applying teachings from Eric Butterworth, A Course in Miracles and Rev. Vernelle’s book, Living A Golden Life.  Erase those erroneous thought patterns and beliefs that hold you back. Take the necessary steps to eliminate the baggage that weighs you down. Shed the habits that stand between you and your highest good; and re-discover the powerful, sacred being that you are.

Vernelle has had an eclectic career in radio, television, non-profit organizations, and government service. Shortly after publishing the first two books, Rev. Vernelle pursued her calling to become a Unity Minister and was ordained in 2016. She established Unity Golden Life Ministries, best known for Seaside Morning Meditations in Florida. The most important work of this ministry, however, is providing pastoral care for the homebound, hospital visitations, and spiritual support for hospice patients and their circle of care. Rev. Vernelle facilitates A Course in Miracles with a Unity Twist each Wednesday evening via zoom and is a faculty member of the Unity Urban Ministerial School where she is president of the UUMS Alumni Association. Vernelle is the author of Favorable Conditions, Don’t Invite Me to Your

Pity Party, Living a Golden Life and most recently Don’t EVER Invite Me to Another Pity Party.www.unitygoldenlife.org

Ashley Looker
Reclaiming Your Wild Woman Through Soul-Centered Living
Friday, March 12th 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Ashley’s interview on Voices of Women

Women are born wild. As a matter of fact, every woman intuitively understand the words ‘wild’ and ‘woman.’ Yet throughout our lives we are told and taught through socialization and messaging that we shouldn’t be ‘too sensitive’ , ‘too much’ , ‘too attention seeking’ or ‘too over-the-top’ too this, or too that. It’s time to dismantle this messaging because there is a wild, authentic, beautiful women underneath all those messy layers ready to be fully seen. Through guided meditation, journaling, coaching techniques and open discussion we will bring your wild woman back to the Soul-center of your life. What does it mean to be a Wild Woman? Who is She? Together we will uncover the age-old question – who were you before the world told you who you should be? and unleash the power of the Wild Woman Within. And you’ll never want to look back.

Ashley Looker is a Certified Wellness + Empowerment Coach, Yoga Teacher, Happiness Expert and Journal Junkie. Over the past 7 years she has taught thousands of ambitious over-achieving women how to slow down and align with their Soul Purpose so they can step out of overwhelm and busyness and into their joy. She believes that soul-centered living is radical and necessary to overcoming all the messages we’ve been taught about hustle and what it means to be an empowered woman. She is the author and creator of The 108 Day Happy As F*ck Habit Journal and the accompanying Happy As F*ck Journal Prompt Card Deck. Ashley Hosts her own weekly podcast. www.UniqueHolisticHappiness.com
