Did you know? In 1922, Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore became a pioneer in radio broadcasting when he delivered a message on Unity’s Radio Station WOQ that reached across the globe. This well-documented event was the first radio presentation by a member of the clergy in Kansas City, Missouri, and it had far-reaching implications by spreading the Unity message to the world. People in Nigeria heard the broadcast and were so inspired that it became one of the first (if not the first) countries outside of the United States to join the Unity movement.
UUMS is moving to a new global platform that will highlight the talents, messages, and music of our Unity family for listeners throughout the world. Our UUMS Anointed Radio streaming will be accessible through computers and cell phones. Our vision of 30-minute to 1-hour formats will include voice-over commercials, announcements, talks on topics such as Urban Ministry, Evolving Ministries, Pastoral Care, Prison Ministry, Youth Ministry, Music (Motown Sound, New Thought, Gospel, etc), Prayer, Meditation, Spanish and other language programs and more.
