Good news. Now, let’s start sending more good news about our School.

Thanks to Rev. Carolyn Warnemuende, Senior Minister, Unity of Redding, CA, and 2019 graduate of UUMS for saying YES to this assignment. Long before Rev. Carolyn completed the ministry program, she offered her services as a writer. I told her I would keep that in mind for the future. During her internship last year, Rev. Carolyn was on the team that created the UUMS Instructors Manual and updated the Student Handbook.

It was noticeable that articles in UWM’s e-newsletter, The Path, did not include “Our Path”, and that concerned me. As the saying goes, when you see something do something. Following the guidance of Spirit, I decided to take action. Realizing I can’t do everything, I was guided to call on Rev. Carolyn to take her up on the offer she made several times as a student. She didn’t hesitate. I suggested we start with our two newest class offerings. So, Carolyn went to work   She contacted UWM and made the case, then interviewed two instructors of new classes being offered: Rev. Valorie Gunsch (2017) on Unitive Leadership, and Ms. Penelope York, on Compass I, a second round also based on her book by that title. The emphasis for readers of The Path is that we offer these and other courses to anyone wishing to audit them or take them for CEU credits at the reduced cost of $50.

Rev. Carolyn must have been pretty persuasive for us to get our own section in The Path. That was a surprise to me when I read her email (below).

As our UUMS Reporter, Rev Carolyn will be looking for story ideas to highlight UUMS. So, please send them to her and copy me. Her email is:
