The following programs are in need of experienced Unity ministers to serve on ministry teams to assist in fulfilling the services offered by each program. A brief description of each team’s task and a contact person is shown below.
Special Dispensation Program: The UWM requires that its member ministries employ Unity ministers. The Special Dispensation Program recognizes there are times when a ministry may have difficulty in finding a Unity minister to serve and offers a path for an individual who is not a Unity minister to be employed temporarily. Mentors are needed for this program. For more information and/or to volunteer contact: Rev. Joanne Burns at: email@example.com or Rev. Diane Venzera at: firstname.lastname@example.org or 816-434-6837
Minister-of-Record (MOR): There are Unity ministries striving to sustain themselves and are unable to hire a full or part-time minister at this time. Working through the UWM, an approved Unity ministry may be eligible to contract with an MOR to maintain their tax-exempt status and support the Board of Trustees in effectively conducting its business and developing the capacity to hire a Unity credentialed leader. For more information contact: Rev. Joanne Burns at: email@example.com
Admissions and Licensing and Ordination Teams: The Admissions Team is charged with evaluating candidates’ qualifications for entrance into UWM’s ministerial education program. The Licensing and Ordination Team is charged with evaluating ministerial candidates for their overall readiness, i.e., their understanding of Unity principles and spiritual consciousness to assure the Unity movement is served by effective, committed ministers. To volunteer to serve on either of these teams contact: Rev. Lynn O’Dell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 816-434-6843
Field Program Leadership Team: This is a program that offers those currently serving as a spiritual leader of a Unity ministry a path to licensing and eventually Unity ordination. For more information and/or to volunteer contact: Rev. Shawn Moninger at: email@example.com or Rev. Lynn Odell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 816-434-6843
Awards Team: This team is charged with developing means to engage colleagues to nominate credentialed Unity leaders for high profile UWM awards, e.g., Light of God Expressing, Charles Fillmore award, etc.
Big Brother/Big Sister Mentoring Program: This program offers an experienced Unity minister as mentor to newly ordained minister serving his/her first year in ministry. If you would like to serve as a mentor to one of these individuals contact: Rev. Ginny Roll at: email@example.com
The Best of Fillmore, A Journey to Purposeful Living: This is the purposed title of an IAMU newsletter featuring the Fillmore teachings. The purpose of the newsletter is to strengthen awareness and use of our foundational teachings. As spiritual leaders, you are our best source of Truth in action. You are invited to write an article about a Truth principle that has been especially meaningful in your own life and/or which has made a significance difference to others in your ministry. You may submit articles to Rev. Marge Dale at: firstname.lastname@example.org
For additional information or questions, contact: Rev. Ginny Roll at: email@example.com Please put in the subject line of your email IAMU.
