For more details about the Conference….

The PADNT Conference was the brainchild of a few Unity ministers who were chatting about how great it would be to have a gathering of the contributions of Black people to New Thought. Three years ago, a group formed to brainstorm, and before we knew it, more New Thought ministers and practitioners were all abuzz with the idea—and the Conference began to take shape.

The seed idea has blossomed into an organization and a gathering for showcasing and giving homage to our common ancestry through “Celebrating Our Soul: People of African Descent in New Thought Conference.”

Who are we?

We are members of Agape International, Centers for Spiritual Living, City of Refuge, Hillside International, Unity, Universal Foundation for Better Living, and more!

  • We are ministers, spiritual leaders, practitioners, and lay people in the New Thought Movement
  • We are embracing oneness in a unique way—without exception or bias.
  • We are dedicated to the celebration of people of African descent.

What is our Vision?

  • Our vision is to recover our ancestral wisdom, to educate, empower, and transform the consciousness of all participants toward deeper understanding and greater love.

What is our Purpose?

  • Our purpose is to celebrate that we are here, that we have survived, that we are thriving, and that we are poised to be all that we are here to be. We intend for People of African Descent and allies to come together, learn, and share spiritual principles. We share and utilize these principles to improve our lives and communities. Our dedication to these principles of truth and goodness allows us to share this abundance with all.
