At our last UUMS Alumni Association meeting, we had the opportunity to welcome Rachel Wotten on, who introduced us to the new portal being developed by Unity headquarters. This platform is designed to better connect and support ministries and members across the movement. Invitations are now on the way, so if you haven’t registered yet, be sure to do so and stay connected to what’s unfolding.
We are also taking a thoughtful look at how we gather and grow together. Through a recent survey, we identified areas for improvement, as well as new ideas for engagement—mentorship opportunities, shared responsibilities, and meaningful projects we can take on as a global alumni community. Our intention is simple: to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and inspiring. A place where you can ask questions, share wisdom, and leave each meeting feeling energized.
At the same time, we are continuing to build the UUMS Alumni website. If you haven’t already, visit UUMSAA.org to register and create your profile. This is an important step in helping us stay connected and expand our network. If you’ve already signed up, take a moment to explore and update your information.
We meet every second Monday of the month, and we would love to see you there.
This is a call to all alumni—your voice matters. Your experience matters. Together, we can build an association that supports our school, uplifts our students, and strengthens ministers at every stage of the journey.
