UUMS Recognizes the Season for Nonviolence

The Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence was established in 1998 by Arun Gandhi, grandson of
Mahatma Gandhi, and the Association of Global New Thought (AGNT). This yearly event
celebrates the philosophies and lives of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. , this 64
days of commemoration, reflection, and action is meant to encourage everyone to get involved in
doing their part individually and collectively to create a world that works for all. For more

with the anniversary the assassinations of Gandhi (January 30, 1948) and King (April 4, 1968).
